The Kozma street data center located in the building previously used as the main building of Athenaeum press, an industrial-style building on a 105 000 nm area. The building complex is connected to an office block, where we can secure server room service and office space on 1800 nm. The 1.5 billion forint project came to life in only five months, as a data center up to international standards, located in the then-Atenaeum press building complex. Space-wise this is the second largest local server room, and in the category of shielded server rooms it’s unique and currently the largest.
The building was established for industrial purposes, and possesses several advantages for creating a data center. Thanks to the style of the estate the floor load is high - >2000 kg/m², and the headroom is at least 4.5 m. Four freight elevator helps the delivery in separable ways. Energy supply is currently provided by five 1.6 MW transformers on two 10 kV intakes, but in the data center area a 5 MW gas-based mini-power plant is also an option.
Certain parts of the building are easily separable, thus areas used by the clients can be separated completely.
The data center itself is located in the estate previously occupied by Athenauem press, adequate distance from dangerous objects, in an easily accessible area with a tidy surroundings. We can provide parking space to our clients. Moving to the BIX (Budapest Internet Exchange) building can make connecting to local and foreign broadband networks simpler.
